Would you be willing to tell us stories about your hair and we will tell you ours?

Hair carries unique stories and histories around our race, ethnicity and gender expression. Hair has energy of its own and it can be associated with our creative life. Come explore in a safe and respectful online atmosphere the ways you have related to your hair from your childhood to the present, and discover what happens when you listen to somebody else’s experiences.

Through guided exercises, self-reflection and conversations offered by trained Biography and Social Arts facilitators, be prepared to be surprised! Open to people of all ages.

Have colored crayons or pencils and a piece of blank paper and, if possible, a private space to move off camera for 5 minutes for an exercise. Bring your lightheartedness and practice witnessing each other in an engaged and  meaningful way.

About the facilitators: Ivette Lenard is a lifelong learner and an artist at heart. She values human connection, poetry, movement, silence and the natural world. Humor and playfulness are an essential part of her approach to healing. Her practice, Attentive Heart Coaching, draws from a rich tapestry of modalities for listening to the mind, body and soul. Integrating the influences of Psychosynthesis, medical QiGong, Mindfullness, Contemplative Movement and Biography and Social Arts, she bring a deep and sacred respect for slowing down and observing what is going on within us so we can choose how to act rather than react. Her work with clients supports a process of self-discovery and she looks forward to collaborating with you. www.attentiveheartcoaching.com
